With
the 2008 Motorsports Show taking place this weekend
in Atlantic City, New Jeresey, the USAC Northeast
Ford Focus Series will be out in full force talking
about the series itself and gearing up towards a
2008 racing season that will once again showcase
the great young talent competing in the Northeast
based series. Milford, New Jersey driving star Ryan
Osborne will have his immaculate looking Ryano Racing/Castle
Real Estate Inspection/Warren County Collision sponsored
2006 Beast Chassied machine on display in the Series
Booth and will be on hand to meet and greet the racing
fans the entire weekend. Steve Intravaia, the fine
driving talent out of the Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania
area will share the booth with the Jersey based Osborne.
Osborne is coming off a racing season where he once
again moved up in the rankings in the series with
solid steady runs and secured his first series win
with a great run coming at the Spencer Speedway located
in Williamson, New York. Osborne finished fourth
in the final series standings that were abruptly
cut short with the cancellation of the final two
racing events on the series schedule. Jeff Abold
emerged as the new series champion and will be moving
into other racing opportunities in 2008. PJ Stergios
was the runner-up, Intravaia was third and Osborne
fourth with just seven points separating the two
driving stars.
For the 19 year old Osborne, the 2008 USAC Northeast
Ford Focus Series will be the main focus for the
talented young driver as he seeks to improve upon
last year's performances and once again take a run
at the series title. Osborne will be seeking to not
only secure the title, but also add some wins to
his racing resume. When not concentrating on the
Northeast series, the Ryano Racing team will be planning
on taking some trips down South to race with the
Carolina Series. Osborne has enjoyed great success
in his few trips in recent years and is looking forward
to mixing it up with his Southern based counterparts
more this year.
Osborne will be driving the Ryano Racing/Castle
Real Estate Inspection/Warren County Collision Center
Focus racer owned by his parents Bob and Fran Osborne.
The talented Osborne is also seeking additional racing
opportunities this year as the former Hamlin Speedway
Micro Sprint Champion would like to return to the
dirt racing wars should a suitable ride be found
for the nights he is free of conflict from his regular
series responsibilities.
When stating his plans for the 2008 racing season,
Osborne remarked, "The Ryano Racing Team is
looking forward to the 2008 racing season. We have
enjoyed racing in the series and with a bit more
luck we feel we have the car and the team to win
the Championship this year. With the great talent
racing in the series, you have to be on your A-Game
at all times to emerge as the Champion. We have to
be fast from start to finish and hopefully everything
will fall into place".
As the team prepares for the start of the season,
the hard-working Ryano Racing Team team is still
seeking additional sponsorship partners for the 2008
racing season. Should anyone have an interest in
partnering with a top flight race team, please contact
GA Motorsports Media at: steveswp@netzero.net or
by phone at: 610 573 9706.

6th at Adirondack, Big Weekend on Tap Next Weekend
Milford, NJ - Ryano Racing News
By Steve Pados
The
USAC Northeast Ford Focus Midget series made it's
annual visit to the Adirondack Speedway over the
weekend and Steve Intraviaia, a rookie in the series,
won his second consecutive feature event. Intravaia,
who won at Waterford last week for his first win,
is driving the same car that carried Kunkletown's
Ryan Smith to a pair of Focus titles last year.
Intravaia took over the lead on the second lap
and never looked back in securing his second straight
win in the series.
For the Ryano Racing Team, with Ryan Osborne aboard,
the team struggled a bit with their set-up as the
heavy amounts of rain that fell prior to the event,
washed away the rubber laid down on the raceway
previously. After finishing third in his heat race,
Osborne began the feature from 8th starting place
and managed to make a couple of passes before settling
on a 6th place finish at the end of the event.
Intravaia was the winner with PJ Stergios, Jesse
State, Shaun Gosselin, and Jeff Abold completing
the top five.
Driving the Ryano Racing/Castle Real Estate Inspection/Warren
County Collision Center Focus racer owned by his
parents Bob and Fran Osborne, Osborne remains in
third place in the latest point standings. Jeff
Abold continues to lead with with 563 markers.
PJ Stergios with 525 points is in second place
but reeling in Abold with each passing race. Osborne
is in third place with 482 points and Steve Intravaia
now moves into fourth place on the strength of
his last two performances. The Rookie Intravaia
has 462 points. Jesse State rounds out top five
competitors with 439 points.
In speaking with the New Jersey based racer by
phone, Osborne remarked, "The Adirondack track
was a tough read. We came into the event hoping
for a win, but the moisture was a constant problem.
We decided to try to stay clear of the incidents
and get the best finish we could."
The series is off this weekend and will swing back
into action next week when another New York State
of Mind Weekend will play out. A return to the
Spencer Speedway on the 10th, followed by return
trip to the Chemung Speedrome on the 11th will
make the weekend pivotal for those who have aspirations
for wearing the Focus crown at the end of the year.
Ryano Racing thanks all of their sponsors and supporters
for their help as they set their goal to win the
2007 Northeast Ford Focus Championship.

Osborne Drives to Another Second Place Finish
in Focus Action at Waterford; Adirondak on Schedule
For Friday
Milford, NJ - Ryano Racing News
By Steve Pados
The USAC Northeast Ford Focus Midget series made
it's return trip to the Waterford Speedbowl in Connecticut
over the weekend. The return to the Connecticut paved
bullring proved to be another successful outing for
Ryan Osborne and his Ryano Racing Team, as Osborne
raced to his third consecutive second place finish
at the Speedbowl in the past two years. Steve Intravaia,
the 19-year old convert from the Slingshot ranks,
drove to his first win in the series in the former
championship car campaigned last year by Ryan Smith.
In the Qualifying period, series point leader Jeff
Abold set fast time with a 14.761 clocking. PJ Stergios
was recorded in second with a time of 14.777. Ryan
Osborne hit the clocks with a 14.814, which left
him in third place, and Intravaia timed at 14.846
which was good enough for fourth. Jesse State rounded
out the top five in qualifying with a time of 14.902.
Ginny Quinones and Sean Carman were also under the
15 second barrier.
In the heat action Abold won over Osborne in the
first heat, and PJ Stergios won over Intravaia in
the second, setting the stage for the feature event
of 20 laps over the 1/3 mile speedbowl track.
As the field came down for the initial green it
was Quinones leading the way with Jesse State in
hot pursuit and Intravaia and Osborne following the
pair. On lap-2, something appeared to have broken
on the front of the Quinones cars as she and State
then made contact and Quinones careened into the
second turn wall and State executed a tip-over. The
Quinones car suffered heavy damage and was through
for the day but a trip to the pits for a jug of oil
had State back in action without losing a lap.
With Intravaia now at the point, when they resumed
racing, Osborne worked both high and low throughout
the race, but never finding the room he needed to
make a run at Intravaia for the lead. All of the
time he was also trying to pressure the USAC rookie
into making a mistake. The Saylorsburg resident was
up to the task as held his line, made no mistakes
and checked in under the checkered flag first at
the end of 20-laps. Osborne raced in behind him with
another solid second place finish and Stergios was
third. Jon Seaman, a Connecticut resident, was fourth
and series leader Jeff Abold was in for fifth.
Driving the Ryano Racing/Castle Real Estate Inspection/Warren
County Collision Center Focus racer owned by his
parents Bob and Fran Osborne, Osborne has moved up
a notch in the latest point standings. Jeff Abold
continues to lead with with 507 markers. PJ Stergios
with 467 points is second. Osborne moved up another
notch to third place with 431 points and Jon Seaman
is now fourth with 427. The Rookie Intravaia remains
strong with the win and his 394 ponts rounds out
top five competitors.
In speaking with the New Jersey based racer by
phone Osborne remarked, "We came into the Waterford
event hoping for a win, but the narrow track keeps
passing to a minimum. We raced each other hard but
in the end we came up short and finished second." Osborne
further added, "Congratulations to Steve on
his win, he has been a welcome addition to the Ford
Focus ranks this year."
This coming week finds the USAC Northeast Ford Focus
series heading back to the Empire State for a race
at the Adirondack International Speedway on Friday
night, July 27th.
Ryano Racing thanks all of their sponsors and supporters
for their help as they set their goal to win the
2007 Northeast Ford Focus Championship.

Grabs Third Place in Wall Focus Outing; Waterford
on Tap This Weekend
Milford, NJ - Ryano Racing News
By Steve Pados
The return home to the Garden State to race before his hometown fans, proved
to be a successful outing for Ryan Osborne and his Ryano Racing Team this past
weekend. After spending much time on the road the past few weeks, the two hour
ride to Wall Stadium for the weekend racing was like a sigh of relief for the
road weary team. The Ryano Team again came away with positive results as Ryan
Osborne raced to a third place finish in the 25 lap feature event on the 1/3
mile high banked Belmar oval.
Driving the Ryano Racing/Castle Real Estate Inspection/Warren County Collision
Center Focus racer owned by his parents Bob and Fran Osborne, Osborne raced to
an impressive win in the second heat of competition. In the first heat for theFocus
cars, newcomer Michael Mohelski led the way to set the stage for the 25 lap feature
event.
When the field came down for the start, it was fellow Garden Stater Sean Carman
taking the early lead and Carman held on for three laps before Jesse State made
the winning pass on the tight racing surface. Carman fell back into second place
and it was Osborne pulling close, but never able to sustain a quick run past
his fellow home-stater. State crossed the finish line first, followed by Carman
and Osborne. Jon Seaman was fourth and rookie Focus driver, Steven Intravaia
rounded out the top five. Series point leader, Jeff Abold, was sixth in the final
rundown.
In speaking with the Jersey based racer by phone Osborne remarked, "Wall
is a great place to race, and as close to home as we get during the season. We
came into the event hoping for a win, but the track was slippery to race on and
the car became a handful to maintain control. We couldn't get a run on anyone
ahead of us, so we just settled in and took what we could get and kept the car
in one piece. The third place finish is good but we were hoping for more."
This coming week finds the USAC Northeast Ford Focus series heading back to the
Waterford Speedbowl in Connecticut, the very same place that kicked off the Focus
season for 2007. The last time the series raced at the facility was April 28th,
and Ginny Quinones was able to lead all of the way to win her first ever series
event. Osborne dogged Quinones throughout the event and finished second. Osborne,
seeking to continue his streak of great finishes said, "Waterford has always
been a fun track to race at. We are hoping for a wider groove to race on in this
trip. We have always had good success there, (two seconds, one in 2006 and one
in 2007)) and hope to have another good outing when we visit there this week."
Ryano Racing thanks all of their sponsors and supporters for their help as they
set their goal to win the 2007 Northeast Ford Focus Championship.
